About the course

When you're a kid, you're still learning and growing. What happens to you when you're young can affect how you feel, what you like, and who you are. Some kids have lots of good memories from when they were little, and some kids have sad or more difficult memories. Even if you didn't have big problems when you were younger, you might still have feelings or things you wish had gone differently. Sometimes it can be helpful to think about what happened to you when you were younger and try to understand them better. This can help you feel better and take care of yourself better. In this part, we'll talk about some things that happened to you when you were a kid and how you can care for your inner child.

Explore your memories from your childhood

When we are little kids, we experience many things that can shape how we grow up. These things can be significant events that happen to us, or they can be times in our lives when we learn important lessons. It's important to think about these things from childhood because they can help us understand who we are and why we are the way we are. So, exploring our childhood memories is a way to dig into our brains and remember everything that happened to us when we were young.

Travel back in time and Speak to your inner child

Sometimes, when we're grown up, we have memories from when we were little kids that can be hard to understand or make us sad. It's okay to feel these things; talking about them is important. One way to do this is to imagine travelling back to when we were children and talking to our younger selves. We can think about what happened to us and how it made us feel and try to understand and heal whatever might be broken inside us. We can also celebrate the good things that happened to us when we were young and remember the beauty of our childhood.

Only celebrate what is beautiful in your childhood story

But it's important to focus on the good parts of our childhood and not let the tough stuff hold us back. To do this, we can think about our childhood memories and try to remember all the happy times. We can also let go of any feelings of anger or hurt that we might have from bad things that happened when we were kids. It's okay to feel these feelings, but we can try to focus on the good things and let go of the rest. This can help us move forward and be strong, even if we had a tough childhood.
