The Church can be formal or informal. It is the coming together in Christ's name that is the important thing.
Instructor: Moses SowaleLanguage: English
Ecclesia was a word used In the ancient Greek world for a general assembly or political gathering, especially: the periodic meeting of the Athenian citizens for conducting public business and considering affairs proposed by the council. In Christianity, it means a particular body of faithful people and the whole body of the faithful. God never works alone but always works in Communion, that is, with the father, son, and the Holy Spirit (The Trinity.) He extended that fellowship to Christians, saying that God is there where two or three are gathered in my name. The Church can be formal or informal. It is the coming together in Christ's name that is the important thing. Even in the Old Testament, the Israelites always gathered from time to time to seek God's faith. Even though your faith is personal, it also has a corporate responsibility.
As Christians and lovers of Jesus who understand God's graciousness towards us, we should be the most welcoming and willing to make people feel cared for, as Jesus did with anyone he encountered.
The Church refers to the body of Christ and is any gathering done in Christ's name. In contrast, denomination refers to different sects under the umbrella of Christianity.
Christians are the lights of the world and are beacons to give hope to people who have lost sent of belonging. Our role is to those who can embrace and guide the troubled in the community to the correct part.
