About the course

Mentorship is likely important to you because you are committed to completing the IESSP Pathway to Wholeness. We find great examples of mentor and mentee relationships in the Bible. From Elijah and Elisha to Jesus and His disciples and Paul and Timothy, it is clear that mentorship is an empowering and transformative process integral to the Christian faith. Many people are falling into pits that could have been avoided; we have people who have gone ahead of us and have done what we are trying to do.

Mentoring is crucial because you have someone who has been where you want to go; mentoring doesn’t mean perfection, but people who are willing to be vulnerable with them; mentoring is not teaching but showing you by example. A mentor can open up and show you how they were able to succeed despite all odds; mentoring is a broad topic. Some people have also died with all their knowledge because they had no mentees; In this module, you will learn the importance of being both a mentee and a mentor and how to sustain mutually beneficial mentorship relationships.

Every relationship needs wisdom in other to be able to stand the test of time. Using the principle of bond and boundaries, your mentor-mentee relationship would be fruitful
