As Paul tells us in Ephesians, we must make the most of our time. Effective time management allows us to make the most of our time and live our lives to the fullest.

You can try making to-do lists or checklists to manage your time daily. Deadlines are our friends – they help us stay on track and focused. To determine how to manage your time, reflect on what is most important to you in life, and build everything else around that. In this module, you will learn about time’s importance and how to use it wisely.

Learn effective methods for time management

This is accomplished by ranking tasks in order of importance and urgency. Examine your daily tasks, for example, and determine which are: Important and urgent: Complete these tasks immediately. Important but not urgent: Determine when you will complete these tasks. Urgent but not necessary: If possible, delegate these tasks. Set these aside for later if they are not urgent or important.

Understand the importance of time management in living a full life

The ability to handle your time effectively is essential. Good time management leads to improved efficiency and productivity, less stress, and more success in life.

Practice mindfulness and notice where you spend your time

Unless you intentionally set goals and track each usage of your time, you might lose track of time; aimlessly scrolling through social media for hours, binge-watching movies or video games.
