About the course

What is your greatest fear, shame, or secret? It could be fear of failure, fear of darkness, fear of judgment, fear of heights, fear of war, fear of rejection, or fear of speaking in public. The fear could be about your safety and well-being, about others, or the world in general. It could be an old secret or something you are ashamed of.

The greatest tool in the devil’s hand is fear. Fear keeps us from living full and authentic lives. Fear disorients you and causes you to make choices you might regret.

It’s important to notice what makes you feel afraid. What you are afraid of can indicate places in your life where you need more support. In this module, you will find support in confronting your fears, shame, or secrets and living in faith instead of fear.

Learning Outcomes

Identify your fears: Everyone has fears, ranging from losing their job, death of a loved one, not amounting to anything, or even fear of failure. That given, once you have identified your greatest fear. The next step would be how to cope with it.

Learn how to take control over fear: Few people are aware of how crippled by fear they are. It works as a bondage and holds you down. Fear may be causing you to continually put your dreams on hold and procrastinate on your convictions. It’s time to confront your fears.

Use Faith instead of Fear: Where you go with your fears and how you deal with them matter a lot. Our greatest fear can be paralyzing and powerful but we should take note that God is more powerful. Simply put, God wants us to come to him in faith even amid our fear.
